Yarnley Tumbler | Crochet Pattern – No Sew!

Hello hello hello! While it’s only been a few days since my last crochet pattern inspiration struck yesterday after seeing how these mugs have taken over the internet. Have you seen them?! While they’ve been popular for quite a while, a certain mug/water bottle company started a collaboration with everyones favourite coffee place. They only released a few of these tumblers in each store so people were lining up over night and resellers have been having a hay day with them! Ive seen them listed on other sites for as much as 350$ !

Since nobody’s got those kind of funds, and I’ve always kind of wanted one of these tumblers, I figured why not crochet one? This way it’ll never leak or break or fall apart on me like the real ones supposedly do! And since it’s such a fun pattern quick pattern I figured you would like it too!

Not ready to crochet right now? Pin this image and crochet later!

If you would like to make one of these plushy adorable Tumblers you can find the patterns for all 3 sizes, the keychain, regular and the giant all over on both my Etsy and my Ribblr pages!

I chose to offer the normal sized pattern here on my blog for a limited time and I want to thank everyone that visited and got their copy! It has been so cool seeing everyones Yarnleys take over instagram and I can’t wait to see what you continue to come up with! This pattern is something that I have worked really hard on and I hope you respect my choice to have made it free for only a limited time!

If you’re looking for a list of materials to make the cup in the signature pink colours I have them listed below! As well as instructions to help you make you Decal on a Cricut machine!

With the suggested yarn/ hook size your completed project should measure 12” or 30 cm tall. I used Bernat Blanket Yarn, in the colours listed below but this pattern can be made with any yarn type/ colour:

Colour A – Tumbler + Handle
• Bernat Blanket Yarn – Pixie Pink

Colour B – Lid
• Bernat Blanket Yarn- Bright Pink

Colour C – Metal Ring
• Bernat Blanket Yarn – Dark Grey

Colour D – Straw
• Bernat Blanket Yarn – Blush Pink

To make the decal I used my Cricut machine but you can get creative and use whatever you would like! In order to make them on the Cricut, Start a new project, once your on the new blank canvas, there is a button on the tool bar that says upload. Click that and then there’s a button saying upload image. Select the decal and then save it. Select the logo once it’s in the library and place it on the canvas. You can resize it at this point or change the orientation. Then when you go to cut it make sure that you click “mirror image” so that it cuts backwards on your HTV and will be facing the right way once you iron it on.

If you would like to find some other blanket yarn patterns make sure to check out the rest of my blog! Make sure to tag me on Instagram or Facebook or wherever you post them! #Yarnley
